To bring the holiday spirit to 10 families in need, the Suffolk County Police Department on Long Island raised money to buy them Christmas trees and all its trimmings.

“With the holiday season coming up, for those folks who celebrate Christmas, it’s hard to meet your children’s expectations with decorations and gifts when money is tight,” Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy Fini told InsideEdition.com. “To provide something like a Christmas tree and decorations is a really simple way to add a lot of joy to the holidays.”
