Orange Baby Hats Drive for Fort Belvoir Community Hospital

We invite you to help spread kindness by helping us make and donate over 300 orange hats for newborn babies at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Alexandria, VA. They are in need of hats for newborns and together we would like to make a positive impact.

The hats can be made from yarn, wool, cotton or acrylic. They are for babies from 0 – 3 months old. Orange is the color of kindness and thus the color of our movement, but feel free to intertwine different colors and be creative. ?

We would love to receive the hats by April 10th, so we can prepare the packages and donate them in the beginning of May. We promise to share many photos and video clips to show the fruits of your labor infused with so much kindness. ❤️

Please share this post or our Facebook event with any friends you have who would like to help!! One could help by knitting, crocheting or sewing orange hats, or donating yarn and materials for them to be made.

Join us, we would love that, and together we can make a bigger impact. If we surpass our goal, we will spread your acts of kindness to other hospitals need.

Hats and materials can be mailed to the address below. Please include your information so we can Thank You accordingly for your kindness!
